Hamlet Scene by Pixel-Monk Hamlet Scene by Pixel-Monk
A scene from Hamlet, if you have read it (and more importantly understood what you read) then I hope you know which scene this is. If you do know which scene it is tell me which one you think it is? (I'm keen to know if I succeeded in my design)

Although on that note I know I failed at incorporating a background (as we were supposed to think of the image as a whole in our design but I failed in that regard so I took my poor attempt at a background out in shame xD)

Fun fact, Hamlet was based in Scandinavia more specifically Denmark :D

Note: I will probably rework this design some more after I get some critique from my classmates so expect to see changes :)

I really like the flow in the white shapes, it frames the dark figure really nicely - it reminds me of an article I read about the shapes used in Disney's Cinderella :D

I've never read Hamlet, but this kicks seriaaaas butt. :O :la:

I can totally see this on a t-shirt or something! Love it! :D

Basically this guy in the middle is Mufasa who has been killed by Scar, and the white figures are just sort of random observers of Mufasa rather than Simba (who is Hamlet) xD Thanks though I think that may be abit of an exaggeration lol xb I don't think I'd wear this in this state but I am happy mostly with the design elements that I solved with this piece (although I failed at incorporating a background :b)
